His Second Chance Page 13

“You probably shouldn’t be doing this,” she muttered. I dipped my tongue into her belly button and smiled as she jumped.

“So?” I said confidently. “There’s been quite a few things over the years I probably shouldn’t have done but I enjoyed every minute of it. Anytime with you isn’t a mistake.”

She gazed down at me with a gentleness in her eyes. She looked almost sad and conflicted as I gazed up at her, still kissing her abdomen.

“Stop thinking so much,” I instructed. “Sometimes you have to learn to go with your gut and not your brain. That thing tends to go in circles anyway and has no clue what’s best for it.” I undid the bottom two buttons on her shirt, curious how she would react. When she didn’t stop me, I undid a third.

“It would be nice,” she admitted. “Just to let loose for a little while.”

“Then do it,” I said as I stood. Our bodies were so close that when I wrapped my arm around her waist and grabbed her bottom, she nestled into me. I could feel my cock beginning to grow as I thought about touching her again.

She met my eyes and began to undo her shirt. “Just because I’m doing this, doesn’t mean I’ll stay,” she said as she held my gaze.

“Understood,” I said with a nod. I knew how to live in the present. Of course, I would never give up on her either.

She tossed her shirt over her shoulder and then tugged at my jeans. Soon, she had them undone and she was pulling them along with my boxer briefs down.

  “Whoa,” I said in surprise.

“I’m taking what I want,” she said firmly as she dropped to her knees before me. Her hand wrapped around my already erect cock and began sliding up and down. I watched her as she touched the tip with her tongue and laved at it as though it were an ice cream cone on a hot day. She kept her eyes on my face, making sure I was watching her seductive show. I groaned and cupped her head as she slid her mouth down my length. Her mouth was so warm and moist as she sucked that it made my cock jump a little. I couldn’t help but move with her mouth as I gently thrust it in and out of her lips. She didn’t seem to mind though, and I took it as encouragement.

“Yes, baby,” I groaned. “That feels amazing.”

“I want you to come in my mouth,” she said between licks. “I want to taste you.”

Those words drove me wild and I was ready to pick her up and fuck her right there. I wanted to plunge my cock inside her, spreading her open wide. Instead, I leaned my head back and pretended that her mouth was her tiny hot hole and I was deep inside her. With her tongue swirling around my cock, she began to pull me deeper and deeper into her mouth until I was hitting the back of her throat. That thought alone began to push me close to the edge.

“I can taste it,” she said huskily. “You’re getting close.”

  “Yes,” I said.

“I want it all,” she said before deep throating my cock all the way to the hilt. I groaned as I felt myself drawing closer. This was probably going to be the fastest I had ever come before but I didn’t care. Her mouth was amazing and I couldn’t hold out. Not with her telling me how much she wanted my come down her throat. The only thing I could think about was making that happen for her.

“I’m going to come,” I finally said, giving her the chance to change her mind. Instead, she pulled it all the way in again and I began to release my seed into her. I felt her swallow as I continued to come, taking it all. When I was finally done, I looked down at her and she wiped a bit off her lip and sucked it off her thumb.

In one quick movement, I picked her up and tugged her pants off. Leaving her panties on, I saw she was wearing a pink, lacey thong and I spread her legs wide open. I buried my face in her panties, inhaling her musk. If it were possible, I would have been instantly hard again. Instead, I used my nose and lips to begin playing with her through the fabric. Soon she was grinding herself on my face and her panties were completely soaked. Using my teeth, I tugged them down before pulling them off completely.

“I love the way you smell,” I said just before I pushed my nose and mouth into her folds. She gasped as I attempted to shove my tongue inside her. I wanted to spread her completely open and taste every last bit of her. She gripped my hair and pulled me closer, unwilling to let me go.

Her juices began to run down to her bottom and I licked her wetness from her cheeks. She seemed surprised at first and then relaxed. I moved my mouth up to her clit and began to suck gently on it as I pushed a finger inside her. This time, I wanted to take things just a little bit further. I used my thumb to swirl around some of her moisture before slowly letting it slip down farther. As I pressed it gently between her bottom cheeks, I felt her puckered hole there. She gasped and then groaned, letting me know she was definitely into it.

“Are you a dirty girl?” I asked as I continued to lap at her sweet cunt. “Do you like it when I touch your ass?”

She nodded and I began to move my thumb with a little pressure as I continued to finger fuck her. It was all so incredibly sexy and I didn’t think twice as I dipped my tongue down between her cheeks and then dragged it up the length of her slit.

Leslie began to shudder as I felt an orgasm rock through her body. She most certainly did like it then, I thought and I made a mental note for next time. I stood over her and lifted her from the couch, cradling her in my arms. She wrapped her arms around my neck as I did and I carried her upstairs to the bedroom.

As I laid her down, she pulled my mouth down to hers and I kissed her. She tasted herself on me and I tasted myself on her. I curled up beside her and closed my eyes, content at least for now.

She had wanted me, that much was for certain. I couldn’t see her being someone that did this sort of thing with just any guy, so I hoped that meant something. Maybe if I let her set the pace, she’d feel a little more comfortable. All I knew was I had to have her in my life. Whatever it took.

  Chapter 14

  Leslie

When I first heard my cell phone ring, I was confused. It was entering my dream where I was decorating Brett’s hotel and I couldn’t seem to find where the noise was coming from. The ringing seemed to be coming from everywhere. I had run from room to room, trying to discover the source of the ringing. It wasn’t until I woke up in his arms that I realized the sound was coming from downstairs and wasn’t just a part of my dream. Carefully, I slipped out of his arms and padded as fast as possible back to my purse. I was grateful for the sky light which made it easier for me to navigate through the unfamiliar house.

“Hello?” I asked, not even looking to see who it was. My eyes were too blurry to have been able to read it anyway. I was half asleep and surprised I’d even heard the phone in the first place.

“Leslie, it’s your mom,” the voice on the other end said. “Did I wake you? There’s an emergency and I couldn’t figure out what time it might be there in London. I wanted to wait but I just couldn’t.” She sounded panicked and completely unlike herself. Even without her saying there was an emergency, I would have been worried.

I snapped awake suddenly, my body releasing adrenaline. “What do you mean there’s an emergency. Mom, slow down. You aren’t making any sense at all. Take a breath and start over.”

I heard my mother take a deep breath. “I’m sorry, I’m just so worried. It’s your sister. We can’t find Aimee. We’ve checked everywhere but we haven’t seen her in almost two days. I’m really worried, Leslie. I’m afraid something happened to her.” I could hear the tears in her voice and I suddenly wished I was back home and not halfway around the world.

“Okay, we just have to stay calm. I’m sure there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for it all. But I can’t do anything from here. I’ll find the first flight back and I’ll be on it,” I promised. I heard the floor squeak and turned to see Brett standing there looking concerned. “Have you called all of her friends? Checked with them to see if they know where she might be?”

“I have and none of them know anything,” my mother said. “Your dad just
keeps trying to call her phone but she’s not answering. Of course. I just keep thinking of all the horrible things that can happen to a teenage girl out there. She could be in trouble.”

“I know, but she could just be somewhere without service or something. Try to relax,” I told her, even though I was feeling the panic myself. No matter what, though, I had to help my mother stay calm.

“I know, I’m trying to keep in mind that she could have just done something stupid and she’s okay. But you know how my mind works. I always assume the worst,” she sighed.

“I know, but I’m sure it will all be okay. Just try to relax,” I reassured her, swallowing my own fear. “I’ll start looking for a flight as soon as we hang up and get on a plane as soon as I’m able,” I added.

“Thank you so much. I know you’re busy and I didn’t want to bother you but I didn’t want to just not tell you,” she said.

“It’s fine. I’ll be home as soon as I can,” I promised before hanging up. I dropped my arm down that was holding the phone and bowed my head. I really hoped my sister hadn’t done something foolish and gotten hurt. She was always wilder than me, so it was hard telling. Did she trust someone she shouldn’t have? Did she run away? Or had someone kidnapped her? It was hard telling at this point.

“What’s wrong?” Brett asked as he stepped forward. When I glanced up at him, the gentleness and sympathy in his eyes broke me even more.

I started breathing heavily as the reality of what my mother told me sank in. “My sister is missing,” I said. “They haven’t seen her in two days.” Tears slipped down my cheeks as I started to lose my cool. My sister might be a brat but that didn’t mean I wanted anything to happen to her. I had to hurry up and get home. I wasn’t sure of what good I could do at this point if they had already called all of her friends, but I would still be able to help my parents. God forbid if anything bad truly had happened to Aimee...

“I’ll get a private jet lined up and we can leave as soon as it’s ready,” Brett said as he began to pull on his clothes. “Here,” he said as he handed me mine. “I’m not sure how long it will take them. Probably not long at all if there’s one already available.”

My tears dried up and I began to work on autopilot. I had to focus on one step at a time. Since I couldn’t do anything for my sister or parents from London, I had to focus on the next logical thing. Getting home. After that, I could worry about Aimee some more. Right now, I just needed to be in the same town. For a moment I considered turning down Brett’s offer, but I knew there was no way I’d be able to get on a plane any quicker. At this point I was willing to take him up on his offer.

Brett helped me finish getting dressed and loaded me into the car. I was barely able to function between thoughts of what might have happened to my sister and feeling completely powerless. I vaguely heard him on the phone arranging for a plane before he slipped his hand into mine.

“You don’t have to do this,” I said as I started to come back to my senses. I needed to stay out of my head so much, assuming the worst. It wouldn’t do me any good. “I can just fly on a regular plane. You don’t need to go through the trouble. You have work and stuff.”

“No, I want to,” he said quickly. “And I’m coming with you. If anything, I can talk to a few people that can help locate her. With any luck, it won’t be long and she’ll be back to bugging you in no time.”

I didn’t know what to say. For him to drop everything like this for me, I was completely stunned. This wasn’t exactly just a quick car trip. I didn’t even want to think about how much chartering a private jet must cost. Honestly, it was probably for the best that I didn’t know. Otherwise, I would end up feeling even worse than I already did.

“I’m sorry,” was all I could think to say.

“No sorry needed. I can only imagine what’s going through your mind. I just hope they end up finding her before we get there. I would rather spend the money and have it all resolve easily than have it turn out any worse. But I’m sure it’s all just been a misunderstanding, you’ll see.” He squeezed my hand again and gave me a reassuring smile.

We drove in silence as he allowed me to think. Every once in a while he would lean over and touch me, making sure I knew he was still there. But how could I forget? He was so strong and solid. Just having him beside me, knowing he was staying calm for me was so reassuring. It was exactly what I needed in the moment.

Before long we were at the airport and climbing on the jet. If I hadn’t been out of my mind with worry, I might have been able to enjoy the experience. Instead, I was still distracted by all the terrible things that kept running through my mind.

“It’s going to be just fine,” he said as we took our seats. “I’m sure she’s completely safe and just didn’t call. She’s a teenager now. Lord knows I did some crazy stuff back in the day,” he chuckled. “My mother always said she was grateful for her hairstylist because she was certain she would have had a full head of gray hair without him.”

I smiled, understanding that he was trying to keep my thoughts from going too dark. Unfortunately, they already had. I could imagine my sister hurt somewhere or kidnapped by some sex traffickers. I kept wondering what the last thing I had said to her was. I was almost positive that it wasn’t nice. Were the last words I would ever get to say to my sister something terrible?

“My mom has started going gray,” I finally said. “And I’m sure I had nothing to do with it.” I was trying to think of something, anything else.

“Of course not,” he said with a smile.

The plane began to take off and soon we were in the air. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got home. Were there going to be search parties or something? Missing posters? All of it was so overwhelming and I had to force myself to take it one step at a time. Right now, I had to get back home. That was all that mattered.

We had been in the air for just a little while when my phone began to ring. This time my eyes were clear and I could read the caller ID. It was my mother again.

“Mom? What’s happened?” I asked as I answered. “I’m on a plane and on the way.”

“I’m so sorry that you already have,” she said. “Because we found her.”

Relief surged through my body. “Oh my gosh, where was she?” I shrieked. I looked over at Brett who also had a relieved look on his face. He could apparently hear my mother’s side of the conversation.

“Your idiot sister took off for Lake Tahoe with her boyfriend and didn’t bother to say anything. We finally got in touch with her and she’s fine, although she’s not going to be too happy when she finds out she’s grounded to her room for the rest of her life,” my mother said. I knew she had to be trembling because I was. I really wanted to get my hands on Aimee and throttle her to death. What part of leaving town without telling your parents seemed like a good idea?

“Make sure you give her extra punishment just for worrying me too,” I said.

“I will, I’m sorry for putting you out like this. I’ll try to pay you back.”

“Brett Jackson got us a private jet,” I explained. “We’re in the air and headed that way.”

“Oh, well I don’t think I can afford to pay him back,” my mother said carefully.

“Tell her to not worry about it,” he said with a wave of his hand. “It’s no trouble.”

“Did you hear him?” I asked Mom.

“I sure did. You tell him I still owe him something as a thank you for helping you out. I can’t believe you got in touch with him over there. You’ll have to tell me all about it when you get here.”

“I will. Talk to you soon,” I said as I hung up.

“Well, at least your sister is okay,” he said with a shrug. “That’s what matters.”

“I swear, I could kill my little sister right about now,” I said as I shook my head. “I wish I hadn’t put you out like this.”

“Hey, it’s okay. Really. It’s my job to take care of you,” he said with a reassuring smile. Only his words
didn’t reassure me, they irritated me.

“No, it’s not,” I insisted. “It’s not your job to take care of me. I really appreciate all of your concern but honestly, it’s not your problem. It’s like you keep trying to force this sort of relationship on me that I just don’t want. I don’t understand why you can’t see that,” I blurted out. For a moment I regretted my words but then I didn’t. Maybe I needed to lay it all out for him. He certainly wasn’t getting it any other way.

He nodded. “Well, still,” he said softly. He pulled out his phone to start making calls and I instantly felt terrible about what I said. Maybe I didn’t have to be so harsh. But the words were out now. There was no taking them back.

We were both silent as we headed back to the United States. I stared out the nearest window into the inky blackness, meanwhile, I was frustrated. Frustrated that everything was turning out the way it was. Frustrated with my sister for being such an idiot that she would take off to Tahoe and not tell my parents. If she hadn’t done that, Mom wouldn’t have called me in a panic and Brett wouldn’t have felt the need to charter a jet to make me happy.

I just couldn’t wrap my head around why he kept doing all this stuff for me. First decorating his new place, now he wanted me to do his hotel and quit my job to work for him. It was like he had this vision of me in his head and he was trying to get me to fit into it. But I couldn’t. I wasn’t the same girl I was before and that was painfully obvious now.

The entire plane ride he was extremely courteous and polite which ended up making me feel like a horrible person. I had snapped at him and been somewhat hateful, but how many times did I have to repeat myself? We weren’t a thing. He didn’t have to keep treating me like we were. I started to wonder if perhaps everything was a bad idea.

It was the most awkward plane ride ever.
